Recently Cisco Systems has revised its CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification exams. The new exam number is 640-802 (previously it was 640-801). A two-exam path is also available for attaining CCNA. It consists of CCENT (Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician), and CCNA ICND2 (ICND stands for Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices). The new exams are more field oriented, in the sense that they focus mainly on the hands-on practice rather than theoretical aspects.
